Similar a lo ocurrido meses atrás con la web de ftmusic.com le ha ocurrido recientemente a la web de la tienda oficial de JEFF LYNNE’S ELO, la cual, de un día para otro, apareció con el mensaje de que el dominio había expirado, dando toda la impresión de que esta tienda se cerraba de forma definitiva al no renovar y hacer el abono correspondiente por los años que se estimasen oportunos al proveedor que mantenía este dominio activo.
Cierto es que apenas unas horas más tarde, alguien parece que se hizo cargo de este dominio, aunque no sabemos si podría tratarse de revendedores pirata que ahora pedirían una suma mayor por soltar la pieza capturada o, de nuevo, quien se hacía cargo hasta ahora de este dominio por orden de JEFF LYNNE.
Ahora los dueños parecen ser de Canadá, concretamente afincados en Toronto y registrados en Tucows Inc. Mientras que el dominio de jefflynneselo.com pertenece a alguien de Los Angeles, California, registrado con Network Solutions, LLC hasta febrero del próximo año… ¿volverán a renovar este dominio para entonces?
Lo cierto es que jefflynneseloshop.com vuelve a estar operativa aunque sin datos y eso no hace indicar que todo está en orden, sino que hay una anomalía que podría atribuirse a un abandono del lugar y con ello la incertidumbre de si JEFF está abandonando los mandos de la nave ELO definitivamente…
A la falta de originalidad en los artículos de merchandising original y oficial de ELO/JEFF se suma ahora el descuido de la tienda donde único se podían adquirir… Pocos adjetivos se le pueden atribuir a esto…
Dejamos constancia desde ELOSP.com que no son éstas noticias que nos agrade contar, pero creemos que debemos ser fieles a la realidad y los hechos que acontecen alrededor del mundo ELO/JEFF, siendo éste uno de ellos, aunque nos duela comunicarlo.
