ELOSPAIN:
Whoever put this image into the hands of ELO fans (Fred Varcoe) knew full well that they were doing them a huge favor and giving them a PRICELESS GIFT. He claims that he himself witnessed this first ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA concert following ROY WOOD's departure in 1972.
Furthermore, he states without a shadow of a doubt that he also attended ROY WOOD's very first concert with his new band, WIZZARD, at the London Rock'n'Roll Show in Wembley just a week earlier. He mentions that for fans of THE MOVE, it was incredibly fun to see them separately, each fronting a different band.
The photograph is, without a doubt, an absolute gem—a far cry from what years later would become a larger-than-life stage production and the envy of so many successful music bands.
