«When the lights go down forever» / The Montane’s Project
El temor de «Cuando las luces se apaguen para siempre» se refleja en este tema homenaje a JEFF LYNNE por parte de THE MONTANE’S PROJECT que ha visto la luz el reciente día 13 de junio de 2025 acompañado de un emotivo vídeo que lo hace cómplice del sentimiento que todos los fans de ELO/JEFF sentimos, y que sabemos que dentro de apenas un mes se hará realidad.
Las palabras de Carlos en referencia a su canción dice mucho del por qué de la misma: «La historia de mi vida siempre ha estado ligada a la música, y sobre todo a la música de la Electric Light Orchestra. Esta canción es un homenaje al mejor grupo de la historia, y en especial a su líder, Jeff Lynne, que este año se retira de sus escenarios».
Personalmente y conociendo la dificultad de crear un tema de estas características felicitamos a nuestro amigo Carlos por su iniciativa y por su valentía para lanzarlo a todos cuantos tenemos presentes ese momento en el que las luces de la nave ELO se apaguen para siempre desde los escenarios. Un abrazo, extensivo a todos los fans de ELO/JEFF del mundo desde ELO ESPAÑA. Para nosotros los fans, la frase de JEFF «La luz de ELO siempre brillará» seguirá estando presente aún cuando las luces de los escenarios se apaguen.

Personally, knowing how difficult it is to create a piece of this nature, I want to congratulate our friend Carlos for his initiative and his courage in sharing it with all of us who are already mindful of that moment when the lights of the ELO spaceship will go out forever on stage.
