En el Teatro Roxy de Los Angeles, el año 2000 BRIAN WILSON realizó dos conciertos históricos en lo que llamaría un regreso triunfal a los escenarios. Pues bien, ahora esos conciertos los recoge en su 25 Aniversario una exclusiva caja de tres vinilos en Edición Coleccionista de Lujo y dos CDs, en la que se incluyen clásicos de los Beach Boys, así como temas solistas poco comunes.
Entre las 40 canciones se encuentra «LET IT SHINE», que coescribió y produjo con JEFF LYNNE, y aunque existen rumores no confirmados de que a BRIAN WILSON no le gustaba como quedó la canción a finales de los 80, una vez grabada, su opinión cambió con el tiempo, ya que la incluyó en sus giras a principios de la década del 2000. Esta canción fue escrita principalmente por JEFF LYNNE, y las contribuciones de WILSON consistieron principalmente en la voz al principio y al final de la misma.

At the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, in the year 2000, Brian Wilson performed two historic concerts, marking what many considered a triumphant return to the stage. Now, to commemorate the 25th anniversary, those shows are being released in an exclusive deluxe collector’s edition, featuring three vinyl records and two CDs, including classic Beach Boys songs as well as lesser-known solo material.
Among the 40 tracks is "Let It Shine", which he co-wrote and produced with Jeff Lynne, and although unconfirmed rumors suggest that Brian Wilson wasn’t pleased with how the song turned out in the late ’80s, once it was recorded, his opinion changed over time, since he included it in his live tours in the early 2000s. The song was written mainly by Jeff Lynne, while Wilson’s contribution focused primarily on the lead vocals at the beginning and end of the track.
