Recoge la revista magazine UNCUT en su edición especial REVIEW OF THE YEAR 2025, un extenso artículo sobre THE BEATLES con el título «REEL LOVE» y la siguiente entradilla:
A mediados de la década de 1990, The Beatles regresaron con Anthology, un nuevo tipo de documental sobre el grupo, en el que contaban su asombrosa historia con sus propias palabras.
Un nombre curioso, pero apropiado: se trataba de un proyecto diverso, un conjunto de lanzamientos reunidos bajo un mismo título.
Una serie de televisión.

Un libro.
Y, lo más sorprendente de todo, ¡una nueva grabación de los Beatles!
Ahora que la serie y la música reciben su edición conmemorativa del 30.º aniversario, la revista Uncut se adentra en Anthology 2025 para descubrir cómo se creó todo, cómo suena un ukelele pasivo-agresivo, y qué materiales siguen guardados en los archivos.
“Hace que ‘Revolution 9’ suene como ‘Penny Lane’”,

A partir de aquí, nueve páginas amplían la información de aquellos FANS que deseen adentrarse en él para descubrirlo.
Como contraportada de esta misma revista, aparece la publicidad o promoción de este ANTHOLOGY de THE BEATLES, en la cual aparece, como no podía ser de otra manera, quien hizo posible el milagro de volver a unir a los cuatro Beatles cuando ya faltaba uno. JEFF LYNNE lo consiguió, como consiguió producir el encargo con resultado más que brillante.
Entre tantas cosas del artículo nos hacemos eco de un breve extracto que hará que algunos se inclinen por adquirirla y descubrir más detalles como el que sigue a continuación:
En el nuevo episodio, Paul, George y Ringo recuerdan cómo surgió “FREE AS A BIRD”, el nuevo sencillo de 1995. En un principio, se había propuesto que los tres Beatles supervivientes grabaran “música incidental”, pero eso pronto pareció insuficiente -y, sin John, no serían realmente los Beatles-, por lo que se descartó.
Curiosamente, George ya se había enfrentado a un problema similar: el de cómo trabajar sin un amigo ausente. Durante su etapa con los TRAVELING WILBURYS, surgió la pregunta de qué hacer tras la reciente muerte de ROY ORBISON. Los WILBURYS -junto con el productor JEFF LYNNE- tuvieron entonces una idea atrevida: ¿y si usaban la tecnología para aislar la voz de Presley y hacían que la banda armonizara a su alrededor en un coro?
George mencionó esta idea a Yoko Ono, y, según recuerda, ella respondió con una frase tan simple como trascendental: “Oh, creo que tengo una cinta de John.”
Con la ayuda de Yoko y JEFF LYNNE, pronto pareció que los tres Beatles supervivientes podrían lograr lo que ningún promotor de los años setenta consiguió: reunir a The Beatles una vez más.

On the back cover of this same issue appears an advertisement for this Beatles ANTHOLOGY, which, of course, includes the man who made the miracle possible—bringing the four Beatles together again when one was already gone: JEFF LYNNE.
He made it happen, and the result of his production work was nothing short of brilliant.

With Yoko’s help—and Jeff Lynne’s— it soon seemed that the three surviving Beatles might achieve what no promoter in the 1970s had managed: reuniting The Beatles once more.
