The Galactic Zoo Dossier #5 / IDLE RACE
El Dossier del Zoológico Galáctico era una revista psicodélica dibujada a mano, de aparición ocasional desde 1995, creada por Plastic Crimewave y publicada por la buena gente de Drag City desde 2001. Cada ejemplar incluía una recopilación en CD o cassette de sonidos raros y juegos de tarjetas coleccionables de dioses de la guitarra dañados y doncellas astrales del folk. Entre los entrevistados se incluían Vashti Bunyan, Simeon, Arthur Brown, Edgar Broughton, Peter Daltrey, Judy Dyble, Clive Palmer, Keith Rowe, The Lovin Spoonful, etc.
Los números 1 a 4 fueron autopublicados, pero fueron recopilados en una colección de libros ahora agotada por Drag City, el GZD Compendium.

Plastic Crimewave (Steve Krakow) es un ilustrador, escritor, músico vanguardista e historiador musical residente en Chicago. Es editor de la revista Galactic Zoo Dossier, publicada por Drag City, líder homónimo de Plastic Crimewave Syndicate, fundador del Festival Million Tongues y de Vision Celestial Guitarkestra.
