“Showtime – El acordeón bajo los focos”

Con el título “Showtime – El acordeón bajo los focos”, la Orquesta de Acordeones de Allmendingen ofreció el sábado 22 de noviembre de 2025 por la noche un concierto fulminante en el pabellón de deportes y fiestas de Allmendingen. Unas 500 personas asistentes reclamaron varias propinas al final.

ALLMENDINGEN – “Queremos mostrar la diversidad de la música para acordeón”, dijeron Gerhard Hammer, presidente de la orquesta anfitriona, y su representante Magnus Daferner al dar la bienvenida al público, asegurando además que “se escucharán melodías conocidas, desde sonidos suaves hasta ritmos enérgicos”.

El concierto lo inauguró la orquesta juvenil, compuesta por unos 30 miembros, bajo la dirección de Jonathan Kruspel, con el tema rockero “It’s Rocktime” y la balada pop romántica “Lovely Moments”. Con “Regenbogenfarben” de Kerstin Ott, arreglada para acordeones por Ulrich Kruspel, los jóvenes intérpretes demostraron que podían hacer “brillar sus instrumentos en todos los colores” con este himno a la tolerancia. El prolongado aplauso del público exigió una propina, que el grupo juvenil ofreció con un mix de “Cordula Grün”, “Atemlos” y “Hulapalu”.

Cornelia Knaier presentó la actuación juvenil y también asumió la moderación del “Primer Orquesta de Acordeones de Allmendingen”, igualmente con casi 30 integrantes. Bajo la batuta de Cornelia Cammerer comenzaron su parte del concierto con “The Stolen Princess” de Alexander Rose. Desde el “Prólogo” hasta el “Final”, en varios movimientos se narró la historia de cuatro amigos encogidos, donde una niña es raptada por arañas y venerada como princesa. Solo un ejército de hormigas podría ayudar a los niños a liberarla.

A continuación se interpretaron el clásico de Frank Sinatra “My Way”, arreglado para orquesta de acordeones por Jonathan Kruspel, y la “James Bond Concert Suite” con el célebre tema de Bond, así como música de la película Skyfall con la premiada canción de Adele, interpretada con maestría por Malin Blankenhorn en Allmendingen.

La música continuó con la banda sonora de “El guardaespaldas” y el éxito de Whitney Houston “I Will Always Love You”. La orquesta mostró de forma impresionante que podía ofrecer tanto baladas emotivas como temas rockeros intensos y el sonido vibrante de los años 70 y 80 del siglo pasado. El público aplaudió entusiasmado piezas como “Rosanna” de Toto, el último tema de Freddie Mercury y el clásico de Queen “The Show Must Go On”, así como los éxitos de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA: “CONFUSION”, “HOLD ON TIGHT” y “DON’T BRING ME DOWN”.

Con la balada “Another Wish in Mind”, del suizo Hugo Felder, el presidente Gerhard Hammer y su vicepresidente Magnus Daferner agradecieron a los directores, a las y los músicos, y al público. En la siguiente pieza, “From Now On”, de la película The Greatest Showman, que Jonathan Kruspel arregló expresamente para este concierto, Lars Ackermann y un coro de seis voces asumieron las partes vocales. Con este tema la orquesta pretendía despedirse, pero el público pidió una primera propina. El conjunto accedió y ofreció “Footloose” de Kenny Loggins. No obstante, los aplausos no cesaron, por lo que como segunda propina se interpretó nuevamente “From Now On”, con todos los acordeones y voces sobre el escenario.

Under the title “Showtime – The Accordion in the Spotlight”, the Allmendingen Accordion Orchestra delivered a brilliant concert on the night of Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Allmendingen Sports and Festival Hall. Around 500 attendees requested several encores at the end.
ALLMENDINGEN – “We want to showcase the diversity of accordion music,” said Gerhard Hammer, chairman of the host orchestra, along with his deputy Magnus Daferner as they welcomed the audience, assuring that “well-known melodies will be heard, from gentle sounds to powerful rhythms.”
The concert was opened by the youth orchestra, made up of around 30 members, conducted by Jonathan Kruspel, with the rock piece “It’s Rocktime” and the romantic pop ballad “Lovely Moments.” With “Regenbogenfarben” by Kerstin Ott, arranged for accordions by Ulrich Kruspel, the young performers demonstrated that they could “make their instruments shine in all colors” with this anthem to tolerance. The long applause from the audience called for an encore, which the youth group offered with a medley of “Cordula Grün,” “Atemlos,” and “Hulapalu.”

The music continued with the soundtrack of The Bodyguard and Whitney Houston’s hit “I Will Always Love You.” The orchestra impressively demonstrated its ability to deliver both emotional ballads and intense rock pieces, along with the vibrant sound of the 1970s and 1980s. The audience enthusiastically applauded pieces such as “Rosanna” by Toto, the final song by Freddie Mercury and Queen’s classic “The Show Must Go On,” as well as ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA hits: “CONFUSION,” “HOLD ON TIGHT,” and “DON'T BRING ME DOWN.”
With the ballad “Another Wish in Mind” by Swiss composer Hugo Felder, chairman Gerhard Hammer and his deputy Magnus Daferner thanked the conductors, musicians and audience. In the following piece, “From Now On,” from the film The Greatest Showman, which Jonathan Kruspel arranged specifically for this concert, Lars Ackermann and a six-voice choir took on the vocal parts. With this piece the orchestra intended to end the performance, but the audience requested an encore. The ensemble agreed and offered “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins. However, the applause did not cease, so as a second encore “From Now On” was performed once again, with all accordions and voices on stage.
