Frisbee Promocional – ELO (1977/1979)
Otro Frisbee promocional original de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA hemos encontrado a través de las redes sociales, gracias a quienes ofrecen fotografías de estos. En esta ocasión fabricado en plástico translúcido y serigrafiado en azul con el icónico diseño de la nave espacial del álbum OUT OF THE BLUE.
Un material promocional que fue distribuido en Estados Unidos durante la etapa de mayor éxito comercial de la banda a finales de los años 70, coincidiendo con la gira y campañas asociadas al mismo trabajo. Este tipo de frisbees se distribuían sobre todo en: Promociones de giras en EE.UU., Radios FM y Tiendas de discos.
No se trata de un artículo comercial habitual, sino de merchandising promocional original de la época, por lo que lo convierte en una pieza poco común y muy apreciada entre coleccionistas de ELO.

Another original ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA promotional Frisbee has been discovered through social media, thanks to those who share photographs of these items. On this occasion, it is made of translucent plastic and screen-printed in blue with the iconic spaceship design from the OUT OF THE BLUE album.
This promotional item was distributed in the United States during the band’s peak commercial success in the late 1970s, coinciding with the tour and promotional campaigns linked to that album. These types of Frisbees were mainly distributed through: U.S. tour promotions, FM radio stations, and record stores.
It is not a standard commercial item, but rather original vintage promotional merchandise, which makes it a rare piece and highly sought after by ELO collectors.
