¿Qué fan de ELO no ha tenido alguna vez un sueño con algo relacionado con JEFF y su mágica música? ¿Quién no le ha visto tan cerca como para estrechar su mano y darle las gracias por su música? ¿Cuántos han visto su nave surcar los ciELOs por encima de sus cabezas?… y sólo era un sueño…
Un sueño en realidad es parte de un deseo, y soy testigo de que, algunas veces, pocas, pero algunas veces se cumplen, y en ocasiones cuando esos deseos se convierten en realidad, incomprensiblemente, parecen sueños. Por suerte y para que quede constancia de que en esa ocasión no fue un sueño, suele haber testimonio de ello que lo testifique y corrobore, y aún así, uno se sigue preguntando: ¿Cómo mi sueño pudo convertirse en realidad? ¿O sólo lo soñé?… Por suerte siempre tendremos el testimonio del hecho si verdaderamente fue realidad, y con ello, la pregunta ya no tendrá sentido.

A dream is, in fact, a part of a desire—and I can testify that sometimes, only sometimes, they do come true. And on occasion, when those wishes become reality, they somehow feel like dreams. Luckily, to prove that it wasn’t just a dream, there’s usually some form of evidence to confirm and validate it. And even then, one keeps wondering: How did my dream come true? Or did I only dream it?… Fortunately, if it really happened, there will always be proof of it—and with that, the question no longer makes sense.
