Cromos PICTURE POP ’73
Hoy traemos una serie de cromos de música/pop en una primera edición británica, titulada “Top Sellers Picture Pop ’73 by Panini”. Aunque esta edición indicaría que se trataría de la denominada… (printed by Panini of Italy but issued in UK) ya que hubo una versión italiana de esta edición.
Todos estos cromos son de temática musical/pop (“pop stars”) y, precisamente este envoltorio concretamente podría coincidir con «ALL THE TOP POP STARS / 3 SELF-ADHESIVE MINI POP POSTERS». Osea, al menos una variante en sobre/grupo de 3 mini-posters adhesivos, lo cual sería un envoltorio correspondiente a una edición promocional o subset especial (no la versión estándar de 100 cromos) o posiblemente un pack para otro mercado (según parece Italia) donde se vendían como mini posters adhesivos en vez de sólo cartas o cromos.
En esta colección aparecieron, en el número 68 el cromo de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA
El número 81 correspondió a ROY WOOD’s WIZZARD
El número 72 fue el de OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, entre otros tantos…

Today we bring you a series of music/pop trading cards from a first British edition titled “Top Sellers Picture Pop ’73 by Panini.” Although this edition suggests it belongs to what is known as (printed by Panini of Italy but issued in the UK), an Italian version of this same series also existed.
All of these cards are music/pop-themed (“pop stars”), and this specific wrapper could match the one labelled “ALL THE TOP POP STARS / 3 SELF-ADHESIVE MINI POP POSTERS.” In other words, at least one variant appears to have been released as a 3-mini-poster self-adhesive pack, which suggests a promotional wrapper or a special-subset edition (not the standard 100-card set), or possibly a version aimed at a different market (apparently Italy) where they were sold as mini adhesive posters instead of regular trading cards.
Within this collection appeared, at number 68, the ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA card,
number 81 belonged to ROY WOOD’s WIZZARD,
and number 72 featured OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, among many others.
