Nueva ENCUESTA mayo / junio 2013

¡Participa!

ELOSPAIN:
Now that the ELO discography is almost entirely reissued and remastered, there's uncertainty about what name JEFF LYNNE will use for his new album of unreleased tracks. Some think it will be released as ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA, while others believe it will be a new solo album under JEFF LYNNE's name. What's your opinion?
Our previous POLL for April/May 2013 showed:
  • 41.2% of respondents don’t find it suitable for a record’s tracks to be made public before its official release. The next highest percentage (29.4%) thinks if it has to be done, it should be the official pages that release the preview.
  • A large number of people (50%) can’t resist listening to these tracks as soon as they have the opportunity, followed by 33.3% who prefer to listen once they have the official album in their hands.
  • There’s a split (35.3% for both cases) between those who believe this process seriously harms the sale of original albums and those who believe it doesn’t harm at all and may even benefit their sales.
  • Only 2.2% have no intention of buying it, and likewise, another 2.2% haven’t decided yet.
  • Virtually, the vast majority will buy it.
  • 44.4% think the artists are not inclined to have these tracks released before the official launch.
Thank you all for your participation! And remember, the NEW POLL for May and June 2013 is already active. Participate!
