Este fue el cartel publicitario del evento en The GRAMMY Museum donde se proyectó el documental «Mr. BLUE SKY: THE STORY OF JEFF LYNNE AND ELO» en la ciudad de Los Angeles, el pasado día 12 de septiembre. Prácticamente se publicitó desde un principio con la alerta de SOLD OUT! (no hay entradas).

Una película que narra la carrera de JEFF LYNNE desde sus primeros días en Birmingham, Inglaterra, a través de sus años de ELO y sus conciertos como extraordinario productor. Es una película muy interesante y esclarecedora, una de las grandes historias de la música pop.

Entre lo mejor de la película: Cuando se ve a LYNNE joven esperando la entrega de los primeros singles que llevan su nombre como compositor: «Imposters of Life’s Magazine» con su banda The Idle Race – una pieza de época de 1967.

El nombre de THE STORY OF JEFF LYNNE AND ELO es inapropiado. Más bien, la inclusión de ELO en el título apoya la posibilidad de que el nombre de LYNNE simplemente no sea reconocible para muchos. Aunque no hay duda de que casi todos los fans del pop del pasado medio siglo conoce la música que ha producido.
