Letra:
I’ll take the night train
I’ll take an airplane
Cuz you belong to me

I just wanna say
Ain’t gonna let you get away
Cuz you belong to me

I only wanna hold you
I just wanna hold you
C’mon let me hold you tonight

You say ya ain’t leavin’
I can’t help dreamin’
You belong to me

I’ll take the high way
I’ll take the low way
Cuz you belong to me

I only wanna hold you
I just wanna hold you
C’mon let me hold you tonight

I’m not drinkin’
Gets me thinkin’
You belong to me

While you’re out there
Remember I’m right here
And you belong to me

I only wanna hold you
I just wanna hold you
C’mon let me hold you
C’mon let me hold you
Tonight

In October 2012, Bryan received a call from his friend Harris Goldberg, a Hollywood-based writer-director-producer born in Canada. Harris was developing a television series about a fictional pre-Beatles band and needed some songs from that era with an original sound. I read the script and liked it a lot. Bryan and I exchanged ideas, mostly inspired by the styles of Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Roy Orbison, and the Everly Brothers. We came up with two songs: "You Belong To Me" and "Don't Even Try." A few weeks later, Bryan went to Los Angeles. Harris invited Bryan to join him for dinner with his friend, JEFF LYNNE. During the dinner, JEFF asked Bryan about the work he had been doing lately, and Bryan mentioned the songs he had written for Harris's project. One thing led to another, and JEFF ended up recording and producing both songs. From there, the rest of the album followed – one song here, one song there, over a period of two years. No band… just JEFF, Bryan, me, and JEFF's audio engineer, Steve Jay. It was a fun way to make an album. We enjoyed sending audio files back and forth via email, trying different things until we reached the end. No deadlines, no pressure. In fact, there's a line in one of the songs on the album that pretty much sums it all up: "Do you want to start a revolution, or do you just want to have a good time?" We just wanted to have a good time. And we did!
