Hace 40 años, en el Pub M&B BREW XI de la ciudad de Birmingham (Inglaterra) sucedió un atentado con bomba en el que unos activistas acabaron con la vida de 21 personas.

Este año se cumplen 40 desde que ocurrió este acto terrorista y se va a celebrar un CONCIERTO BENÉFICO para homenajear a aquellos que fueron asesinados a la vez que agradecer a los servicios de emergencia que actuaron allí tras el atentado y a todos aquellos ciudadanos que ayudaron poniendo su propia vida en peligro.

El espectáculo, denominado «21 TODAY» en el que se interpretará un tema con el mismo nombre, tendrá lugar en el BIRMINGHAM TOWN HALL el próximo jueves 20 de noviembre de 2014 y el dinero recaudado será destinado al Birmingham Children’s Hospital y Acorns Trust. Contará con grandes músicos como Dave Morgan (ELO), Martin Smith (ELO), Phil Hatton, Steve Gibbons (Steve Gibbons Band), Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention), Quill, R J Ellory’s band Zero Navigator, King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys y también Phil Pickett, cuya esposa fue herida en el atentado, y el percusionista Hossam Ramzy.

40 years ago, in the M&B BREW XI Pub in the city of Birmingham, England, a bomb attack occurred in which activists took the lives of 21 people.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of this terrorist act, and a BENEFIT CONCERT will be held to pay tribute to those who were killed and express gratitude to the emergency services that responded to the attack, as well as all citizens who helped, putting their own lives at risk.
The show, named "21 TODAY" and featuring a performance of a song with the same name, will take place at BIRMINGHAM TOWN HALL on Thursday, November 20, 2014. The funds raised will be donated to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Trust. It will involve prominent musicians such as Dave Morgan (ELO), Martin Smith (ELO), Phil Hatton, Steve Gibbons (Steve Gibbons Band), Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention), Quill, R J Ellory’s band Zero Navigator, King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, as well as Phil Pickett, whose wife was injured in the attack, and the percussionist Hossam Ramzy.
